Ed Hardy Bio

Ed Hardy is the site editor for Brighthand, a position he's held for over eight years. His interest in mobile technology extends even farther back than that, starting with some of the first portable computers released in the early 1980s.

In addition to writing news and reviews, Ed works with the Brighthand staff and a number of freelancers to oversee the creation of all the content for the site. This includes video reports, interviews and first looks of new and exciting mobile systems. He also manages coverage outside the U.S., working with a number of freelance writers and columnists. Ed also keeps a close eye on the smartphone industry, meeting frequently with device makers and software developers at major trade shows like CES and CTIA.
