Wacom Launches New Surface Capacitive Touchscreen Line

Wacom announced recently that it will launch a major new line of surface capacitive touch components with improved performance over the standard product that is available today.
Although, this was released in Tokyo, we hope to see this come to the U.S. as well. Thanks to forum member, rocke86, for the tip and the information that Wacom expects to have this technology available in their consumer products by the first half of 2009.
Motion Computing Asking Users to Tell Their Stories

Motion Computing launched a new campaign called "Tell Us Your Story" recently asking users to tell their stories about how Motion tablets have impacted their daily work. Motion has just started releasing these stories about how efficient their tablets are and how they help in the field. Submissions have came from users all around the world.
Motion is accepting submissions through December 19th. Winners will be awarded weekly between now and then. If your entry wins, the prize is an iPod Touch and a $50 gift certificate, I have to say pretty nice.

OWC Transforms Apple MacBooks into Apple Tablets
Other World Computing (OWC) announced today the availability of Modservice, a new service that converts an existing Intel Core 2 Duo based MacBook notebook into an Axiotron ModBook, the only Mac-based tablet computer that lets users draw and write directly on the screen. Modservice pre-ordering is available immediately from OWC, with prices starting at $1,299.
Windows 7 Details Uncovered
Microsoft on Tuesday showed off a demo of the upcoming Windows 7 operating system. It runs much more efficiently than Windows Vista, has great tablet features that are new and has a more streamlined look. Click the link for the full details.
