The Asus Eee Slate EP121 will ship any day now, and in preparation, Asus has released two videos unboxing and demoing the device Asus calls the "most powerful tablet in the world."
The EP121 made its official debut at CES a few weeks ago, where TabletPCReview got a full hands-on demo. The Windows 7-powered Slate EP121 will feature a 12.1-inch (1280 x 800), multi-touch capacitive display (two inputs, 178-degree viewing angle), and Intel Core i5-470UM processor, a 64 GB or 32 GB solid state drive, and either 2 GB or 4 GB of DDR3 system memory. In addition, the tablet has Bluetooth 3.0 and b/g/n Wi-Fi connectivity, HDMI out, an SD card slot, a 2.0 megapixel camera for video chat, and supports Adobe Flash 10.1.
It will ship with a Wacom pen and can be bundled with a Bluetooth keyboard. Prices range from $999 to $1,099.
Check out the videos for the EP121 unboxing, boot demo, and product tour. TabletPCReview will be getting a review unit soon, and we'll be posting videos of our own.
