In case you didn't manage to snag one on Black Friday or Cyber Monday, Research In Motion's (RIM) BlackBerry PlayBook tablet has once again gone on sale for the low, low price of $199 for the 16GB model. And for you choosy types, you have your pick of retailer, to boot: the discounted PlayBook is available at Best Buy, Staples, and Office Depot.
It may have its drawbacks -- like the lack of a native email app and a rather limited app selection that is of dubious quality -- but the $199 price point puts the PlayBook on the same level as the Amazon Kindle Fire and $50 below the price of the Barnes and Noble NOOK Tablet. So if you would rather have a tablet that has a camera, sports more RAM and storage than the Fire, and pairs up nicely with your BlackBerry (actually granting you the ability to send email), then now is the time to make your move.
