AT&T will be adding to its tablet portfolio on January 8th with the Pantech Element, a splashproof Android tablet.
According to a leaked report the Pantech Element will have an 8-inch display with haptic feedback and sport a 1.5GHz dual-core processor. It will ship with Android Honeycomb 3.2, front- and rear-facing digicams and have 16GB of storage.
It’s most interesting feature however, is that the Element is splashproof. As long as the ports are covered, you can splash water all over the Pantech tablet without bricking it. It can’t withstand submerging however, just splashing.
The Pantech Element joins the Galaxy Tab 8.9 and HTC Jetstream as part of AT&T’s tablet lineup. The splashproof Android tablet will be available on January 8th for $299 with a two-year contract or $449.99 without.
