HP Releases webOS 3.0.5. Update for TouchPad

HP TouchPad

Earlier today, Hewlett Packard released the third webOS update for the TouchPad.

According to HP, webOS 3.0.5. enhances core apps like email and calendar, while also improving video calling. The newest update also addresses any additional bugs discovered since the last update. 

Some of the other features of the update include faster switching in calendar views, IM presence indicators and faster scrolling in email, support for HTML Live Streaming, the option to toggle auto-correction on or off, and the ability to insert a period while typing by pressing the space bar twice. The other features include stability improvement and an alert for a reduction in video quality due to network issues. 

TouchPad customers may download the newest update for free through the over-the-air system update.
