A survey performed by TechBargain reveals that more than half of current Kindle Fire owners will purchase the iPad 3 when it is released.
Additionally, the survey results show which features consumers want on an iPad 3. Eighty-five percent of the 1,305 respondents want a quad-core processor, 82 percent wish for better speakers, 82 percent want a USB port, 81 percent ask for a memory card slot, 72 percent hope for a less reflective screen, and 65 percent of consumers want Siri on the next iPad.
Fifty-eight percent of respondents want to upgrade their current tablet and 74 percent concede that no tablet compares to the iPad. Sixteen percent of the survey takers claim they will not purchase the iPad 3 because of its anticipated price tag, while 35 percent remain undecided.
Sixty-six percent of iPad 1 owners and 56 percent of iPad 2 owners claim they plan to purchase the iPad 3.
