Huawei is poised to make a big splash in the tablet market with its latest Android tablet, announced at Mobile World Congress 2012. The MediaPad 10 FHD is a ten-inch follow-up to the impressive 7-inch MediaPad (aka T-Mobile SpringBoard).
The MediaPad 10 FHD will run Android Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0 and have a 1920 x 1200 display and Huawei's own quad-core K3, 1.5 GHz processor. It will pack an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera and 1.3-megapixel front-facing shooter, in addition to 2GB of RAM. Dolby surround-sound pictures round out the package The new Android tablet will be a scant 8.8mm thin and weigh 598 grams.
The new MediaPad 10 is not schedule to ship until Q2, with only Europe and China as the confirmed markets, but don't surprised if you see it in the States as the MediaPad 10 FHD will support both HSPA+ and LTE.
