Research in Motion released a minor update for the BlackBerry PlayBook 2.0 OS, providing improvements and bug fixes to the tablet.
The PlayBook 2.01 OS is available through an over-the-air update today. The update provides better support for Android apps, browser improvements, and optimizes Video Chat, PIM, and BlackBerry Bridge applications.
PlayBook users should be prompted for the update when it’s available, however, if you’re looking to download it manually, users can just "Check for Updates" in the Settings menu. Those who purchase the tablet on or after April 17, 2012, should be updated to version 2.01 during the setup process.
