Acer Shows Off Iconia Tab A210 and A110 Quad-Core Android Tablets

Acer has been quietly displaying two upcoming Android tablets at Computex 2012 that Acer has yet to officially announce, and both are set to be released sometime in the third quarter of 2012: the Iconia Tab A210 and A110.

Acer Iconia A200The Iconia Tab A210 will be a mid-range tablet, and certainly a follow-up to the A200. The tablet will sport a 10.1-inch display with a 1280 x 800 resolution and have a USB 2.0 port, a microSD card slot, and a 3,620mAh battery. It will come with either 8GB of internal storage or 16GB. Surprisingly enough, the A210 will not feature a rear-facing camera, just like the A200.

On the other hand, the A110 will sport a 7-inch, 1024 x 600 display and will measure at 11.4mm thick. Internally, the A110 will have 1GB of RAM along with 8GB of built-in storage that can be expandable with a microSD card. The tablet will include a microHDMI and microUSB connector on its side. It's expected that this model be priced similarly to other mid-tier tablets, perhaps somewhere around the $200 mark and is a follow-up to the A100, which was one of the first 7-inch Honeycomb tablets.

Both the Iconia Tab A210 and the A110 will have a quad-core Tegra 3 processor and will be running Android Ice Cream Sandwich OS (4.0).
