Ten One Designs has finally unveiled their secret project, now known as the Pogo Connect, which will be the world's first pressure-sensitive Bluetooth 4.0 stylus. The will be compatible with the new iPad.
It is the first of its kind, as the device will support a crescendo sensor, which will make the stylus highly responsive to pressure and recognizing even the slightest touch. With zero grams of activation force the sensor works at a variety of angles allowing user to write naturally as they would with a normal writing utensil.
Additionally the Pogo Connect will offer a built in LED light that app developer will be able to utilize in a number of ways, such as indicating the color that the stylus is currently writing in. The smart pen is going to be powered by a single AAA battery that, with the help of Bluetooth 4.0's energy efficient technology, will last for months of continuous drawing.
The Pogo on launch will be compatible with 12 apps including Brushes, Zen Brush, and PDF pen for iPad, Procreate, FlipBook HD and Sketch Club, with many more on the way, according to Ten One Design.
The Pogo Connect stylus can be pre-ordered starting Oct. 1 for the price of $80. The first 2000 buyers will receive a special edition version with a laser-engraved tiger graphic paying homage to the device's code-name Blue Tiger.
