Toshiba's tablet portfolio continues to grow, as the company announced a new addition to its lineup today: the Excite 10 SE.
The Excite 10 SE, powered by Android OS 4.1 (aka Jelly Bean), sports a 10.1-inch screen and a quad-core NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor. Taking after its equally slim predecessor, the Excite 10 SE adopts a slender, lightweight form factor, measuring a slightly thicker 0.4 inches and weighing in at 22.6 ounces.
Other features of the Excite 10 SE include Bluetooth 3.0 and Wi-Fi connectivity, a micro USB port, stereo speakers with SRS Premium Voice Pro (for optimized video chatting), and a 3-megapixel rear-facing camera. The tablet also features a front-facing camera, but Toshiba did not mention its resolution in its press release. And although the Excite 10 SE already comes with 16 GB of storage, it can be expanded via the tablet's microSD card slot.
And it won't be long before users can get their hands on the Excite 10 SE, as it goes on sale online and at retailers this Thursday, December 6 for $349.99.
