Today only, the 8.9-inch version of the Amazon Kindle Fire HD starts at $250., while the 4G version is also on sale.

Amazon Kindle Fire HD 8.9This device has fairly high-end specs for its regular price, and today it's an even better deal. The Kindle Fire HD 8.9 has a 1920 x 1200 resolution display with 254 ppi., and it sports a front-facing camera.

The tablet runs a very heavily modified version of Android on a 1.5 GHz, dual-core processor.

A version with 16 GB of internal storage is available for $50 off on the Amazon.com website for those who use coupon code FIREHD89.

The LTE version of the Kindle Fire HD 8.9 is also included in this sale. It normally goes for $500, but with the coupon code that drops to $450.
