Lenovo has no shortage of Windows 8 devices out on the market and the Taiwanese vendor shows no sign of stopping in 2013, with FCC filings pointing to another hybrid tablet from the company next year.
The filings confirmed that Lenovo's next Windows 8 tablet will be the ThinkPad Helix, an 11.6-inch device with a full HD (1920 x 1080) dockable display. Other details are still slim at the moment, but the filings also confirmed that it will have LTE and Wi-Fi connectivity, as well as a variety of Intel Ivy Bridge processor options.
The ThinkPad Helix is also rumored to have a 10-hour battery life, a welcome improvement over the issues that Microsoft's Surface Pro has run into, which is also Intel-powered.
There are no details yet concerning the release date or price of the ThinkPad Helix, though this news does come just in time for the yearly Consumer Electronics Show, so it's not unlikely that we'll see the device (and perhaps an official announcement) at the show next month.
