Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 with 4G LTE Headed for the U.S.

A WiFi-only version of the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 is already available, and this is apparently soon be joined by a version with 4G LTE.

The FCC has approved this device, which has support for Verizon's LTE network. And it's possible Big Red won't be the only one offering it, as Samsung models are often broadly available -- all the largest U.S. telecoms have a version of Samsung's Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, for example.

When the LTE-enabled tablet is going to be introduced is not known, but it might happen at next week's CES.

More About the Galaxy Note 10.1

What sets this device apart from it's rivals is its S Pen, as well a suite of apps designed for stylus-based input. Samsung has also added the ability to dsiplay two apps side-by-side.

The Note 10.1 runs Android 4.1 on a 1.4 GHz quad-core processor, with 2GB RAM. The device also includes a 5-megapixel main camera and 1.9-megapixel front-facing camera.
