Polaris Office for iOS Gets 80 Percent Price Cut

Infraware Co. Ltd's Polaris Office app is aimed at letting users view and edit Microsoft Office documents, download Adobe PDF files and actively work on projects across multiple devices.

Users can save their data to cloud storage services such as Google Docs, Dropbox, and Box.net for quick access to all their files. Polaris Office also includes convenience features such as a file manager and direct opening of email attachments.

Also on the iOS side. the company recently released an app update. Version 4.1.2 adds support for iPhone 5 resolution and improved stability when saving documents. It also fixes known issues such as errors related to the fonts.

Compatible with iPad as well as iPhone and iPod Touch, the app requires iOS 5.1 or later.

The Android version of the app gets widespread use because it's often bundled with Android smartphones. The Android edition is also available as a free download from Google Play.
