Best Buy is clearing out its stock of third-generation iPad units, and is now offering this device at very low prices. Some prices have been cut by as much as $235.
While the iPad 3 was replaced by the iPad 4 last fall, it isn't obsolete. It runs the latest version of iOS, and while is processor isn't as fast as the newer model, but it's much faster than the chip in the new iPad mini. And the iPad 3 has the same display as in Apple's latest tablet. The older model uses the Dock Connector, not the new Lightning one.
