When the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 was formally announced last month, an important detail was left out: the price. This has now leaked out, showing the Android tablet is going to be quite affordable.
The retailer Adorama mistaken listed this product on its website today for a brief time, indicating that it will cost just $200.
This will make it competitive with other tablets with similar specs, like the Google Nexus 7. It will be a bit more than the HP Slate 7, however.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 Overview
This Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) device is going to have a 7-inch display with a 1024 x 600 (WSVGA) resolution, giving it a relatively low pixel density of 169 ppi.
At the heart of the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 will be a 1.2GHz dual-core processor and 1 GB of RAM. A microSD HD/XD card slot will add up to 64GB of storage capacity, while there will be versions with 8GB and 16GB of built-in storage.
Other features will include a 3 MP rear camera and a 1.3 MP webcam.
The Wi-Fi-only version of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 is scheduled to be released around the world before the end of this month. A 3G/4G-enabled version will start becoming available in June.
