Looks like Fujitsu will be releasing another Tablet PC in the coming months. Thanks to one of our forum members, P8RSON, we have some information that I am sure users will be pleased with. That is right, the Fujitsu T8140 Tablet PC is due to be released in October.

The specs at this time are limited, but here are the basics:

  • 12.1-inch (1280 x 800) resolution.
  • Intel 1.06GHz U7500 Core 2 Duo ULV processor.
  • 1GB DDR2.
  • 32GB Solid State Disk.
  • Windows Vista.
  • Two types of Battery will be available, Long Haul = 11.3 hours or Standard = 7.2 hours

All of this and I am sure much more will be crammed in a chassis measuring 1.3-inches and only weighing 3.3-pounds with the Long Haul Battery. From the looks of it, we can expect the T8140 to be an all black Tablet. As I mentioned before it is due out in October and expect prices to be in the $2600 range.
