Samsung’s newly unveiled tablet/laptop is the Galaxy Book. This high end Windows 10 computer invites comparison with the Microsoft Surface Book, but really has more in common with the Microsoft Surface Pro 4.
There will be two versions of the Galaxy Book: 12 inch and 10 inch.
The larger will have a 1440p AMOLED screen, 3.1GHz Intel Kaby Lake Core i5 processor, up to 8GB of RAM, and include up to 256GB of storage. This version will sport dual USB-Type C ports.
Samsung’s other new 2-in-1 will be built about a 2.6GHz 7th generation Intel Core M3 processor, 4GB of RAM, and up to 128GB of storage. It will have a single Type-C USB port, and a 1280p AMOLED screen.
Both versions will ship with a detachable keyboard and S Pen. Not surprising, given that this will be the successor to last year’s Samsung Galaxy TabPro S.
