Google Nexus 7 Overview

The Nexus 7 normally sells for $200, making it one of the most affordable tablets around.

A heavy emphasis is being put on this devioce's tie-in to all the content on Google Plus, like movies, games, and books.  Nevertheless, it is a fully-functional tablet capable of handling a wide array of tasks.

It runs Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean), the latest version of Google's own operating system. It is built around an NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor with a quad-core CPU and 12-core GPU, plus 1GB of RAM.

The Nexus 7 tablet has a 7-inch, 1280 x 800 display with a 216 ppi. It features Wi-Fi, NFC, GPS, and a 1.2 megapixel front-facing camera. It includes a 4,325mAh battery good for 9 hours of video and 300 hours of standby, according to Google.

No matter whose name is on it, the product is actually being made by Asus.
