There have been enough rumors and leaks that there's little room for doubt that an 8-inch version of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 is coming soon. Today a full set of specifications for it came to light, along with a picture.

The Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 is supposedly going to run Android 4.2.2 on a 1.5 GHz dual-core Exynos processor from Samsung, with 1.5 GB of RAM. There will be 16GB of internal storage and a microSD memory card slot will support up to 64GB cards.
It will have a 5 MP main camera and a 1.3 MP webcam, along with a 4450 mAh battery and a micro-USB port.
Samsung is allegedly going to produce two versions, a Wi-Fi-only one as well as one with 4G HSPA+. Both will have Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi a/b/g/n.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 is reportedly going to launch next month. It's not known if any U.S. carriers will be offering the version with built-in cellular-wireless data.
There is no word yet on price either, but it will certainly cost less than the Galaxy Note 8.0 which recently debuted at $400.
The image that leaked out along with the specs of the Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 shows that this tablet will, not surprisingly, greatly resemble the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 that was recently announced.
