OtterBox is known for making some of the best protective cases for tablets and phones, and the company has announced that it will introduce a Defender case for the iPad Air, as well as one for the iPad mini 2.

A removable screen shield covers the display when the device is not in use and doubles as a media viewing stand in landscape and portrait modes.
OtterBox already offers a Defender case that works with the original iPad mini, but this lacks an opening for the second microphone Apple added in the iPad mini 2.
The version for the iPad mini and iPad mini 2 ($70) is available from pre-order now. OtterBox says the one for the iPad Air is coming soon.
