It is already available in Korea, and Americans will be able to pre-order it on Friday, Nov. 1. The tablet will be introduced in the U.S. on Nov. 10.

An Overview of the Samsung Galaxy 3 Kids

Like the regular version, this device has a 7-inch display with a 1024 x 600 (WSVGA) resolution, but comes in a yellow casing.

On the inside is a 1.2GHz dual-core processor running Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) on 1GB of RAM. It has 8GB of internal storage, and a microSDHD card slot that can add up to 32GB more.

Other features of the Galaxy Tab 3 Kids include a 3 MP rear camera and a 1.3 MP webcam. There is also Wi-Fi a/b/g/n and Bluetooth 3.0.

Pre-loaded content includes educational, games, entertainment, and eBook apps. Samsung is putting together a Kid's Store to make it easier to add more.

This company will offer an optional Kids Case for this tablet, which will feature a kids-friendly grip and multiple stand options (see picture below). The case will also come with an easy-to-grip C Pen, providing drawing capabilities without the possibility of leaving marks on other objects.
