2.7 Pound Tablet with ATI Dedicated Video? Yup…

It weighs 2.7 lbs. It is a full-featured convertible Tablet Computer including no-nonsense wireless hardware (wi-fi, Bluetooth and tri-band cellular wireless GSM/GPRS/EDGE). This tiny little machine packs a punch for such a small device with dedicated ATI graphics to boot!

We are talking about Dialogue’s Flybook Tablet Computer. We were lucky enough to catch some excellent photos of this machine’s casing at the C3 Expo in NYC that we recently attended. Unfortunately, these display models were non-functional dummy units. We are of course working to obtain a live working machine at this time. For what it’s worth, enjoy some close up shots of what could turn out to be an outstanding Tablet Computer product.

Yes, it comes in different colors!

One hand is all that is needed to hold the tiny Flybook.

A little over two CD’s in width

A reasonable keyboard

Yellow!

Slick…

But this is where the story gets interesting. on the left side of the device is the slot for your cellular provider’s SIM card – very cool!

And, see that VGA out port on the back? With its ATI graphics (16MB dedicated), the tiny Flybook will support up to a 1800 x 1440 resolution on an external monitor.
