The device runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow on a 1.3GHz quad-core processor from Intel. There’s 1 GB of RAM, and 16GB of on-board storage. This is expandable by up to 128 GB more via microSD card (sold separately).

The Voyager III’s touchscreen has a 1024 by 600 pixel resolution. The consumer-oriented device also has front- and rear-facing 2 MP cameras. RCA says it can go for up to 6 hours on a single charge.

Specifications like these make this tablet an option for budget-conscious shoppers looking for a very portable computer for social networking, ebooks, and light gaming.

More Coming from RCA

This is only the first tablet or two-in-one this company has in the offing. Expected soon are the RCA 12.2″ Windows 2-in-1 as well as the RCA 12.2″ Android 2-in-1, both of which were unveiled at CES.
