Acer A200 Tablet

The Acer Iconia A200 just joined the list of tablets that will be receiving an update to Android’s latest operating system, Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0.

Acer announced the Android 4.0 OS update is now available for the A200 as an over-the-air update starting today. The company announced that those who have the 7-inch Iconia A100 tablet and the 10-inch Iconia A500 tablet will receive the update as early as April.

The Iconia A200 joins a small list of tablets that currently run Ice Cream Sandwich. The ASUS Transformer Prime and the Motorola Xoom Wi-Fi are two of the only other tablets to run the operating system.

We reported yesterday that users with the Acer Iconia A500 in Australia and New Zealand would receive the Ice Cream Sandwich update by April.
