Acer has taken the wraps off the Iconia Tab 10, a full-size Android tablet with a mid-range price.
All this model’s specifications haven’t been released yet, but Acer did reveal that the device will run Android 4.4 KitKat on a quad-core MediaTek processor, and feature a 10.1-inch FHD display. The Iconia Tab 10 will have a micro HDMI port and Wireless Display capabilities.
The upgraded speakers for streaming television and movies on the larger display are the big draws here. The tablet will sport two built-in speakers and Dolby Digital Plus technology, but stereo headphones are necessary for the latter feature.
The Iconia Tab 10 will be available in September in either black or white at a price of $199 or 199€.
This is one of several new tablets announced by the company at the IFA trade show in Berlin this week.
