For those of you who have been waiting with baited breath for the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update to come to the Samsung Galaxy Note, it’s time to celebrate: the OTA update began rolling out to users today.
The update is a massive 320 MB, like due to the fact that aside from the OS upgrade, it also brings with it Samsung’s Premium Suite of apps, which include a new version of S Note (with improved digital note-taking tools) and a new S Memo widget. There are many other smaller features that come with the Premium Suite, most of which are outlined in the video below.
In terms of the UI, users need not worry about experiencing too much of a jarring shift from older versions of Android, as this ICS update will also be skinned with Samsung’s TouchWiz UI, providing some consistency for users.
