Android Kindle App Now Available

The Amazon Kindle app for Android tablets and smartphones is now live and available in the Android Market for devices running Android version 1.6 or later.
The Android Kindle app is similar to the iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch apps, and includes the following features:
- Access to Kindle books outside of Amazon Kindle eBook reader
- Synchronizing last page read and annotations between devices
- Portrait and landscape mode support
- Page turns via screen tap
