Apple iPad Air 2 May Already Be in Production
The next generation of Apple’s full-size tablet has already begun being manufactured, according to an unconfirmed report. The device, typically referred to as the iPad Air 2, is expected to launch before mid-fall.
Citing unnamed sources, Bloomberg says component suppliers are already working on this product, and that it’s expected to be unveiled in September or October.
According to leaked information, the iPad Air 2 is allegedly going to resemble Apple’s current 9.7-inch model, but with a faster processor and a biometric security scanner.
In addition, Bloomberg’s sources indicate that the device’s screen will have an anti-reflective coating, something its predecessors lack.
