The Eee Pad Transformer will join the exclusive club of tablets running Android 3.2 when it receives an OS update July 28.
ASUS confirmed they were testing the update earlier this month, but now the OS is available to all Transformer owners. The renewed platform will provide users with an app zoom/stretch feature, allowing them to switch between stretch and zoom modes for non tablet apps. Honeycomb 3.2 will also bring the tablet support for media sync with SD cards. Besides these additions, it is unclear what other minor improvements this update brings.
Users will receive a notification on their device when the update is available for download.
The Eee Pad Transformer received an update to Android 3.1 in June, bringing with it faster speeds, smoother transitions, and USB-hosting compatibility. With Ice Cream Sandwich set to arrive in Q4, Android 3.2 will be the last update to Honeycomb. Currently the Motorola XOOM is the only other tablet to run on Honeycomb 3.2.
