The Huawei MediaPad is now headed to AT&T. The manufacturer announced that the MediaPad will be available for AT&T enterprise users at “varying price points” depending on their business account.
The 7-inch Android tablet has an IPS multitouch display with 1280 x 800 resolution, a 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, a 5MP rear-, and a 1.3MP front-facing camera. Users will be able to snap photos as well as record 1080p HD video. It ships Android 3.2 OS (Honeycomb), but will receive the Ice Cream Sandwich update when it becomes available. It will support both Wi-Fi and AT&T’s HSPA+ network, but not its new LTE 4G network.
Huawei released the MediaPad to T-Mobile late last year, calling it the SpringBoard. Read more about TabletPCReview’s review on the Huawei MediaPad.
