The AT&T Trek HD has just become this wireless carrier’s first tablet sold under its own brand. This mid-size, $200 device is also the first tablet to debut running running Google Android 5.0 Lollipop available from AT&T.
This model has an 8-inch, 1280 x 800 pixel display, and runs Android 5.0 on a 1.6 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor from Qualcomm. It has 16 GB of internal storage, and up to 32 GB of additional capacity can be added via a microSD card.
The Trek HD includes a 4060 mAh lithium-ion battery that AY&T says is good for up to 8 hours of use on a single charge. The tablet also has a 5 megapixel auto-focus rear-facing camera and 2 megapixel front-facing camera. It weighs 0.75 pounds.
Naturally, this device can connect to AT&T’s 4G LTE network for nearly-ubiquitous access to the Internet.
