A suite of Nook Video Apps have just been released for iOS, Android, and Roku devices. These enable customers to watch movies and TV shows from this streaming-video service on a wider variety of computers.

Nook VideoBarnes & Noble once reserved this service to only its Nook tablets, but slow sales of these has caused the company to broaden its availability in hopes of bringing in more revenue from it.

Nook Video includes a catalog of movies and TV shows from all the major studios. Titles can be purchased or rented from the Nook Store with no subscription required, and then streamed or downloaded.

UltraViolet integration provides customers the ability to view their previously and newly-purchased UltraViolet-enabled movies and TV shows.

The app is available for the iPad in the Apple App Store, and for Android devices in Google Play.
