College Students Can Get $150 Off a Microsoft Surface Pro 3

Microsoft is helping college students with their technology shopping by discounting the Surface Pro 3 with Windows 8.1 by almost 20%.

Microsoft Microsoft Surface Pro 3The version of this high-end mobile computer with an Intel Core i3 processor and 64 GB of storage normally retails for $799, but those enrolled in college or university and have a valid .edu email address can get it for $649.

Microsoft stated that this is “an excellent option for students and those who typically do Web browsing or work with Microsoft Office programs.” Additionally, students who want more storage or a faster processor can also save, as Microsoft is offering at least $150 off every version of the Surface Pro 3. After this discount, the i5/125GB model is $850 and the i5/256GB one is $1,149, while the i7/256GB is $1,394.10 and the i7/512GB is $1,754.10.

These prices do not include the Surface Pro Type Cover, the add-on keyboard, which costs an additional $129.99.

This special offer is available to eligible students at Microsoft Stores, Best Buy, Staples, and Tiger Direct in the U.S., and Microsoft Stores and Best Buy in Canada. It lasts only until September 6.
