T-Mobile may be getting a revived version of last year’s Galaxy Tab 7-inch, as images of a T-Mobile branded Samsung tablet, apparently dubbed the Galaxy Tab Plus, have surfaced.
The device may run the Android 3.2 Honeycomb platform with TouchWiz layered on top and will support T-Mobile’s HSPA+ network, evident by the 4G label on the back of the tablet. The photos show a thinner model, though not as thin as the Galaxy Tab 7.7 that Samsung unveiled at the IFA, which unfortunately means this is not the U.S. version of the Tab 7.7.
While no other details were revealed, the leaked story by TmoNews claimed that the screen loads to say “Galaxy Tab Plus,” which is the first time this name has been associated with this device. Though the exact resolution of it is unconfirmed, the original 7-inch Tab featured a display resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels.
