Technology site Neowin has its hands on two slide images that included the design and specifications of the Dell Latitude 10 and Dell XPS 12 Windows 8 tablets.
The Latitude 10 will reportedly sport a 10-inch screen and run on Intel’s Clover Trail Atom dual-core processor. The display will be a multi-touch HD screen with a resolution of 1366 x 768. An optional stylus will reportedly be available for use with the tablet. Other features include 2GB of RAM, up to 128GB of internal memory, an 8MP rear-facing camera, a 2MP front-facing one, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a swappable battery (2-cell and 4-cell), and a fingerprint scanner for heightened security.
Also leaked were the specs of the XPS 12 convertible tablet that sports a design similar to the forgettable Dell Inspiron Duo. That tablet will features a 12.5-inch HD touchscreen with edge-to-edge Gorilla Glass. The XPS 12 will also sport a machined aluminum and carbon fiber chassis and will have Intel Smart Connect technology.
These leaks have not been confirmed by Dell or Microsoft, but Dell is expected to have tablets ready at the Windows 8 launch. There is a good chance we might see more at Computex, which kicks off in early June.
