E Fun Announces Android Nextbook Premium 9 Gingerbread Tablet

E Fun is at it again, this time the budget tablet maker is releasing the Nextbook Premium 9 Android Gingerbread (2.3) tablet. 

E Fun Android Nextbook Premium 9 tabletThe 9-inch tablet will sport a capacitive high-resolution color touchscreen and will pack a Rockschips RK2918 A8 Cortex 1GHz processor. The Premium 9 will feature a 2.0MP front-facing camera, as well as 4GB of built-in flash memory and an SD card slot, expandable up to 32GB of memory. Equipped with a miniUSB port, built-in speakers and a 4-way G-sensor, the Android 2.3-powered slate also ships with built-in Wi-Fi and Flash 10.1 support. 

The Nextbook Premium 9 tablet will come pre-loaded with Kobo eBook Store, along numerous other pre-installed programs, touts E Fun. The device will be available Dec. 20 with a MSRP of $349.99 and a street price of $279.99. 

The company’s previous tablet, the Next5, was a budget-friendly Android tablet that performed like a low-end device, though it offered great external speakers and a decent battery life. Incredibly heavy for its size, the Next5 was not compatible with Borders/Kobo eBook downloads.
