E FUN just won’t quit. It has what seems like dozens of budget tablets on the market, and is ready to debut its latest Nextbook Android tablet, the Nextbook Elite 10, at CES 2012.
The 9.7-inch Nextbook Elite 10 will ship with Android Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0. The tablet will have a Broadcom A9 1.1GHz dual core processor and 8GB of flash memory. The Elite 10 will feature a 1024 x 768 high-resolution screen with 4:3 aspect ratio and support up to five touch inputs.
It will also include Wi-Fi, HDMI support, a microSD card slot, a 2MP front-facing camera, and a 5MP rear-facing camera. The tablet will be pre-loaded with four software items including the Kobo eBook Store and the Android Market, according to E-FUN.
Frankly, we would be surprised if it actually shipped with Android Market access, which would signify the tablet has Google’s blessing, given the budget nature of E FUN’s tablets. In fact, the press release mentions that Android Market access is “pending Goole approval.” But, we’d love to be proved wrong.
The Nextbook Elite 10 will be available in the spring of 2012 for $229.99.
