The Nintendo Wii U controller unveiled at E3 is not a tablet in the strictest sense, but it incorporates many tablet features and combines them with traditional gamepad elements to form a unique gaming console controller. A 6.2-inch touchscreen display is the Wii U controller’s defining characteristic, and as evident by the demo, Nintendo is making good use out of it as an extension of the playable gaming area and useful gaming information screen, one in which users can interact with games in new ways. It also features a stylus and front-facing camera.
