The holidays are upon us, which means it’s time to brave the stores for that perfect gift. Those looking for a good deal on some gadgets, and who are willing to face the crowds on Black Friday, will be pleased to know that retailers have begun to release their sale lists and it looks like some of our favorite tablets and eReaders made the cut.

Ad from Best Buy Black Friday offeringsCurrently, Overstock.com is offering refurbished NOOK Color eReaders for $150. While Barnes & Noble’s lowered the price of the device to $200 earlier this week, after announcing its upcoming NOOK Tablet, consumers can save $50 if they buy from Overstock now.

As for those Black Friday sales, Best Buy is said to be offering the ASUS Eee Pad Transformer Wi-Fi tablet for $250, as well as the ASUS keyboard docking station for $99. While Best Buy didn’t specify whether the reduced price is for the 16 or 32GB model, the 16GB flavor currently sells for $400, with the dock costing $149. Perhaps Best Buy is making room for the Tegra 3-powered Transformer Prime, which hits shelves in December.

The electronics retailer may also offer the Toshiba Thrive for $280, as well as the Acer Iconia 7-inch tablet for $190. The ad also boasted another sweet deal involving mobile slates, teasing customers with $100 off any tablet with the purchase and two-year activation of a Verizon mobile hotspot.

While none of these sale items and prices are guaranteed yet, be sure to check back soon to see our list of the official best deals for Black Friday.
