BargainTabletPC Conference Call with Fujitsu

This past week we spoke with Fujitsu to discuss the company’s current positioning on their extensive mobile computing products including Tablets, Notebooks and PDA’s.  At this time it has been confirmed that Fujitsu’s popular LOOX Pocket PC will not be readily available to consumers in the US (more info: http://www.bargainpda.com/default.asp?newsID=1922), however in addition to Fujitsu’s high-quality, innovative notebook products, the company offers its extensive Tablet PC product line for American customers. Fujitsu offers both styles of  Tablet PC’s including Slate models, the ST4000 and ST5000 and also an incredible Convertible line the T3000.

So what’s ahead for the Tablet models?

Well a big issue for the manufacturers seems to be a race for the best display quality.  Fujitsu plans to incorporate its own screen technology into updated versions of the ST5000 line.  These updated screens will be 10.4″ in size and offer extended viewing capabilities for both indoor and outdoor use.

Why buy Fujitsu?

We were told that Fujitsu is commited to offering top quality harware with impressive specs. at a somewhat competative price range.  My overall impression is that this company truly believes in the products it manufactures and take great pride in the Tablets they offer.  I personally have had excellent luck with all Fujitsu products I have worked with and feel that the company has every right to stand proud.  The current Tablet PC lineup from Fujitsu seems to offer a great variety of features that perspective buyers should definately consider.
