That’s right, the LifeBook T4220 is now available. Laptopauthority.com will be taking orders starting today, June 1. The T4220’s will then begin shipping around the middle of June. Fujitsu also has the T4220 up on their website with prices starting at $1,769.

For the $1,769 price your T4220 will have an Intel Core 2 Duo processor T7100 (1.8GHz), Windows XP Tablet Edition, a 12.1" XGA display, 512MB memory and a 60GB hard drive. Of course you can customize the T4220 any way you wish either through Fujitsu or laptopauthority.

In fact laptopauthority has many different configurations listed on their site, which is what I like to see. I know many users are excited about this release and can’t wait to get their hands on one. Even the top of the line model listed on Fujitsu’s site has a reasonable price of $2,099.

The T4220 has many of the same great features as its predecessor the T4215, but it is built on the Santa Rosa platform. The top dog has a 2.4GHz Core 2 Duo processor and 120GB hard drive. As I mentioned before orders are being taken now, so if you want the T4220 you better reserve yours soon.
