Fujitsu Unveils Intel Atom-based U2010 UMPC

Fujitsu recently showcased their second generation UMPC. That’s right, the U2010 will be sporting Intel’s Atom processor, a 5.6-inch display and will be quite pricey. Looks like a nice update, but at the projected $1,300 price tag, only those who have money to spare will be buying this tiny tablet.

Fujitsu U2010 specs:

  • Intel Atom processor
  • 5.6-inch (1024 x 600) touchscreen display
  • 3.5G WWAN
  • Integrated GPS
  • 6-row keyboard (compared to the previous models 5-row)
  • Weight:1.34lbs

As of right now, the U2010 will be released in Taiwan in July, no word yet on when it will be available in the States. With such a steep price tag it’s not surprising that it’s being marketed toward the high-end market. I could see the U2010 being a great travel, business companion though.
