One of Microsoft’s main goals for Windows 10 is to have this newly-announced operating system widely adopted by large corporations, according to an article from our sister site, SearchConsumerization.
‘Microsoft lost a huge amount of ground in the enterprise with Windows 8, and it really cemented Windows 7 as the OS of choice,” said Paul DeGroot, an industry analyst cited in the article.
Windows 10 will include many of the features IT departments have been asking for, most notably the return of the Start Menu. It will also have device management capabilities developed by Microsoft built into it.
