A snapshot off a benchmark website revealed a few key pieces of the rumored Google Nexus tablet, including its CPU and operating system.
The “Google Asus Nexus 7” tablet made an appearance in a Rightware Basemark ES 2.0 Taiji benchmark, and it showed the tablet running on a NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core processor. The benchmark also showed that the Google tablet featured a 1280 x 768 display, which nearly matches the current highend of 7-inch Android tablets with 214 pixels per inch.
Another tidbit found in the benchmark was a possible operating system update: Android Jelly Bean (4.1). Some info taken from the raw data showed that the “version_sdk” of the tablet is “4.1”, which is rumored to be the next update for the Android software. The build code for the tablet’s operating system is “JRN51B” which is assumed to be the code for the Jelly Bean update.
