HP Slate 8 Windows 8 Business Tablet Unveiled

An internal HP presentation revealed a device geared towards business users: the HP Slate 8.

The HP Slate 8 may be part of HP’s EliteBook like and will sport a 10.1-inch display with brightness control, capactive pen support, complete touch control, x86 processor, and Windows 8 Professional. Other features for the device include numerous security features such as HP ProtectTools, TPM embedded security, and Computrace support.

HP claims that the tablet will have about 8-10 hours of battery life, weigh .68kg, and measure at 9.2mm thin. It also appears that the HP Slate 8 will feature a full aluminum body with enterprise-class docking support.

The internal specs for the device have yet to be released, but we’ll most likely found out more about the HP Slate 8 soon.
