The 64GB HP TouchPad is coming to France.

News of the slate first came when an advertisement promoting the device appeared on HP’s French TouchPad landing page. Though the site originally claimed the tablet would be available soon, an updated version offers the slate for purchase with a retail price of €599, or approximately $865.

According to the website, the TouchPad 64GB sports a new white glossy finish and has 64GB of internal storage, as evident in the tablet’s name. Currently equipped only with Wi-Fi connectivity, the new TouchPad is powered by a 1.5GHz Snapdragon processor, up from the 1.2GHz chip found on the 16GB and 32GB versions.

When is the 64GB TouchPad coming to America? It’s unclear, but HP claims it will announce additional regional availability in the near future.

HP has experienced some setbacks in the sales of the TouchPad. Recent reports surfaced stating Best Buy was unhappy with the company due to the poor sales of the device and the abundance of TouchPads still in inventory, this, even after HP cut the price of the 16GB and 32GB models by $100.
