HTC has been trying to break into the tablet business for years, and is reportedly going to give the upcoming version of Windows RT a try.
The company is supposedly working on two models: the HTC R7 will have a 7-inch display with a 1920 x 1080 resolution, while the HTC R12 will allegedly have a 12-inch screen at 2048 x 1536 pixels.
Internally, they will have a 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, and a microSD memory card slot for memory expansion, if this unconfirmed report is correct.
Other features will allegedly include a 13 megapixel camera, 4G LTE/HSPA+, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS.
Windows RT Blue
The first version of RT has met with little success, but Microsoft is working on a second edition of Windows 8 that the company says will incorporate suggestions from users. This has been code-named “Windows Blue”.
The HTC R7 and R12 will supposedly be introduced in mid-October, with the launch of Windows RT Blue.
